NOTE: Concentrations exceeding 0.10 kU/L indicate the presence of specific IgE and, therefore, sensitization. A higher sIgE level corresponds to an increased likelihood of symptom manifestation upon new or future exposures.
sIgE concentrations between 0.10 kU/L and 0.35 kU/L may be clinically significant in pediatric populations and in cases of drug or venom allergies. However, it is important to emphasize that no sIgE concentration can definitively exclude allergy, nor is there a specific threshold that directly implies the onset of allergy symptoms. |
