- Plasma EDTA (Centrifuge between 800 and 1600 x g for 20 min at room temperature, separate and freeze for transport, ship frozen)
- Urine: Sample for babies. For the detection of congenital CMV infection during pregnancy. Allows detection up to 2-3 months after birth.
- CSF
- Breast milk

REFRIGERATED samples:
- EDTA total blood (DO NOT FREEZE)
