Description: GLUTATHION OXIDATION- SERUM

Sample:
    Refrigerated
    Stability: 5 days

Preparation for shipment:

Obtain 8 ml of blood in a tube that has been provided and mix by inversion at least 5 times.
Centrifuge 10 min at 3000 rpm during the hour after obtaining the sample.
Transfer 1 ml of clear serum by analysis (total glutathione, oxidized and reduced glutathione) in the specific tube with preservative (ask the laboratory), and verify that it closes the tube cap well.
Mix the transferred serum with the help of a vortex.
Keep the sample refrigerated (at 4-6ºC) until the moment of shipment.
Send the refrigerated sample to the central laboratory of Barcelona, verifying that it is kept refrigerated during the whole transport and reception process.

    Stability: 24 hours 

Preparation for shipment:

Centrifuge 10 min at 3000 rpm during the hour after obtaining the sample.
Transfer 1 ml of clear serum by analysis (total glutathione, oxidized and reduced glutathione) in the specific tube with preservative (ask the laboratory), and verify that it closes the tube cap well.
Mix the transferred serum with the help of a vortex.
Send the frozen sample to the central laboratory  within 24 hours after the sample extraction.
