ImmunoCAP ISAC is an in vitro diagnostic test that uses very advanced biochip technology. It measures simultaneously in a test solp specific antibodies against multiple allergen components, using only a few l of serum or plasma. Specific IgE chip provides results for more than a hundred components of more than 50 allergens. Allergens are selected beforehand and include markers for cross-reactivity. ImmunoCAP ISAC is a useful tool, particularly for more complex cases, such as those with a history inconsistent, poor response to treatment or patients polysensitized.
