Not detected. * This technique has sensitivity 99% and specificity of 98%. Méthodology used: RNA extraction from the received sample was performed by means of the automated system MagNA Pure (Roche Diagnostic). Following, amplification (nested-PCR) was performed with specific primers targeting a fragment of the glycoprotein E1 from RUBV following Mosquera's et al. (Journal Clinical Microbiology, Vol40 nº 1; 2002) protocol. The detection of the amplified fragment (289 pb) was done by visualization in an agarose gel after staining with ethidium bromide. Amplification of a FV fragment as internal control for extraction and amplification. The results of this report refer only to the tested sample. Delivery term: 10 days | Not detected. * This technique has sensitivity from 200 to 300 copies/mL and specificity of 100 %. Delivery term: 4 days |
