Sample     : Plasma lithium Heparin     Alternative: plasma sodium haparin and plasma                  EDTA.     IMPORTANT  : To separate plasma as soon as                  possible.                          Delivery term: 30 days

Sample     : Plasma EDTA Alternative: Plasma sodium haparin, plasma              lithium heparin and frozen serum. IMPORTANT  : Centrifuge the blood sample              at 2500 rpm 10 minutes at room              temperature in the first 2 hours              of collection, separate the              supernatant to another tube              and immediately freeze it at              -20ºC. Rejection Criteria: Clotted sample. Thawed sample, maintained at room temperature for more than 24 hours or at 4ºC for more than a week.             Delivery term: 16 days
